Whittlesea Primary School, VIC

Whittlesea Primary School found Replas products suited their requirements to a tee. They chose recycled plastic because of the strength and durability of the products, but were also pleased to be using a fully recycled product. The Principal from the school was absolutely delighted with the look of the whole outdoor seating Replas provided. The installation was completed in one day, which importantly meant minimal disruption to the school.

New School Makes Choice of the Future

When Bullimbal School in Tamworth, moved to a new school site in May, 2010 they were faced with the prospect of having no outside furniture. Greg O’Sullivan from the school, said, ‘We considered metal, wood and recycled plastic garden furniture,’ adding that in the end, ‘we settled on the Replas recycled plastic furniture’. Greg said it they were swayed by the low maintenance of recycled plastic finding it very affordable when the life expectancy was considered.

'We would be pleased to get more items from Replas and would happily recommend their products to others'. Greg O’Sullivan, Environmental Coordinator, Bullimbal School.

Sitting room at Sea Lake

Buloke Shire Council, in North-West Victoria, recently purchased some recycled-plastic benches and seats to replace old, weathered seating in Apex Park at Sea Lake.

The council chose Replas products because they wanted to support a locally made product and they believe recycled plastic offers a good alternative to the traditional wooden and steel structures currently on the market.

Ken King, from Buloke Shire Council, says, ‘The seats were easy to assemble and handle,’ adding, ‘We need to think positively about recycling and our environment, even in rural areas such as ours, recycling plastic into park seating and furniture is a positive move’.
