At Settlers Run Golf & Country Club southeast of Melbourne, Victoria, an Enduroplank™ bridge takes golfers across a water hazard on the 8th fairway. The waterway is prone to flooding, which meant the previous timber structure was under constant repairs and maintenance.
While attending a green keepers’ seminar held at Settlers Run recently, Replas’ Ben McCulloch inspected the recycled plastic Enduroplank™decking, and it showed no signs of wear or tear. Club officials confirmed to Ben that the bridge has needed no attention since installation some 12 months earlier, despite a number of floods. Seminar attendees accompanying Ben on his inspection round were all in agreement that the Enduroplank™ bridge was a highly successful golf course improvement.
