This section of the website qualifies some important areas of Repeat Plastics' operations. It is important that if you are a customer of Repeat, that you familiarise yourself with the below logistics. All policies are designed to make the ordering process as efficient and effective as possible.
1. Lead Time for Product Order
RPA manufactures all products to orders. No stock is held. The only exception to this rule is when a representative holds minimal stock in their warehouse. Products in general take about 3 - 4 weeks to be delivered from the day the order is received. On some occasions, goods may be delivered sooner (this is due to product cycle runs). Clients should not place orders until they are ready to receive the products as in some cases goods can be received within one week.
For orders of amounts less than 10 please ask your state representative as small stock amounts are sometimes kept.
2. Freight/Unloading Procedures & Charges
Deliveries are made by semi trailer trucks that come from either Ballarat or Lilydale, Victoria. It is imperative that as a customer, you have a forklift at your facility, as well as being able to accept delivery at any time from 8AM - 5PM Mon-Fri. For smaller orders, hand unloading is possible, but time consuming. If you do not have a forklift, talk to your sales person regarding the weight of the items you have ordered and discuss whether or not it is feasible to hand unload and whether you will have sufficient staff to do this. If for some reason, you are unable to accept delivery, whether it be that you do not have staff at the facility or other reasons, you will be charged for the freight on the delivery that was not accepted, plus the freight for the the re-delivery. Please note that couriers will charge extra time for delays due to hand unloading as a result of no on-site forklift.
3. Colour Variation Statement
Due to the nature of our product being made from recycled plastic, there can be no guarantee that from one batch to another, colour will be identical. For instance if you are building a recycled plastic jetty, it is better to order your planks at the same time rather than doing a half/half batch order. This is because the recycled plastic used for one batch, may vary slightly in the other batch and this can create slight variation in colour that can be disappointing from a customers perspective. Most times this colour variation is non existant/un-noticeable, but NO GUARANTEE can be given that colour of product will be identical.
4. Graffiti Removal & Painting the Product
In most cases, graffiti can be removed in the early stages using Citrus based cleaners.
Speed humps are guaranteed for one year agaisnt manufacturer defects. With wear and tear, no guarantee/warranty is given on Speed Humps or fixings due to the variability of traffic that these items endure. They are not recommended for truck usage.
All goods are to be pre-paid unless payment terms are agreed to by your representative.
