MAV Procurement
MAV Procurement is a unit of the Municipal Association of Victoria established for the purpose of supporting members to leverage their combined scale to achieve better value, minimise compliance risk and to improve practices. MAV Procurement has been appointed by thirty eight (38) member councils in Victoria to act as Agent for the Provision of Park, Playground and Fitness Equipment, Outdoor Furniture, Structures and Signage and Related Products and Services. Replas is honoured to be a member of a select panel to provide products and services to these Councils under this arrangement.
ECO-Buy
ECO-Buy Limited is a not for profit Centre of Excellence in Environmental Purchasing, established to encourage the purchasing of environmentally preferable (green) products and services. Green purchasing is based on the simple premise that every purchase impacts on the environment in some way, and is about choosing to buy products and services that are less damaging to our environment and human health than competing products and services that serve the same purpose. Replas are proud to be an official supplier to Eco Buy
Local Buy
Local Buy is a company that was established in 2001 to provide comprehensive, value adding procurement services to councils and government entities. The company is a commercial entity that is wholly owned by the LGAQ.
Local Buy’s core business is the creation of contractual arrangements for goods and services that are used by councils and government entities, aggregating the demand for these goods and services to achieve better pricing and conditions, and eliminating the need for councils and government entities to establish their own supply contracts. Replas are proud to be an official supplier to Local Buy.
Red Group
In 2010 Where do plastic bags go at the end of their useful life? The RED Project is an Australian-based closed loop recycling initiative developed by the RED Group to educate Australians and provide a susdtainable solution for all types of plastic bags and flexible plastic packaging that are no longer useful and are destined for landfill or transport offshore. There are millions of pieces of this fully-recyclable plastic lurking in Victorian households - yet there was no simple way to discard them responsibly.
The RED Project in partnership with Replas, is a complete closed loop system where plastic bags and packaging at the end of their useful life are not sent to landfill, but are collected through Australian Primary Schools, Councils, Businesses, and Retail Outlets to become the resource used to manufacture Replas recycled plastic outdoor furniture and other products which are then offered back to schools and communities across Australia.
KAB
Keep Australia Beautiful National Association is a community based environmental organisation founded in 1968 to lead, challenge and inspire all Australians to strive for a sustainable and litter free environment. KAB is best known for its awards programs, Tidy Towns and Sustainable Cities. These two national awards for regional and urban communities are now known collectively as the Australian Sustainable Communities Awards.
